These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Hearthstone Locators' housing search services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Agreement
Services are provided based on the specific service level selected (Orientation Session, Property Search, or Full-Service Partnership). Each service includes defined deliverables as outlined in our service descriptions.
Service fees are payable as follows:
- Orientation Session: Full payment upon scheduling
- Property Search: 50% upon engagement, balance upon successful placement
- Full-Service Partnership: Payment schedule outlined in service agreement
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information about requirements and constraints
- Attend scheduled viewings or provide reasonable notice for cancellations
- Make decisions within reasonable timeframes when properties meet criteria
- Inform us promptly of any changes to requirements or circumstances
- Comply with Singaporean laws and regulations regarding housing
3. Service Limitations
Our services are provided with professional care, but we cannot provide guarantees regarding:
- Availability of properties meeting all specified criteria
- Property condition or landlord responsiveness
- Future market developments or regulatory changes
- Success of lease negotiations with third parties
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary by service level:
- Orientation Session: Full refund if cancelled 48 hours before scheduled time
- Property Search: Initial deposit non-refundable after service commencement
- Full-Service Partnership: Terms outlined in individual service agreement
5. Confidentiality
We maintain confidentiality of all client information shared during service provision. Clients likewise agree to maintain confidentiality regarding our search methods, property contacts, and proprietary information.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to:
- Amount of service fees paid for the specific service
- Direct damages only (no consequential or incidental damages)
- Claims made within 90 days of service completion
We are not liable for third-party actions including property owners, landlords, or service providers.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Singapore law. Any disputes will be resolved through mediation in Singapore, with arbitration if mediation proves unsuccessful.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms. Changes take effect upon posting to our website. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
